The Art World at Your Fingertips
The biggest issue I see with art education programs, whether it’s an online course hosted by an auction house, or a full MA in curatorial studies, is that they aren’t connected with practical applications of their subject matter.
Not to mention, an average auction house course can cost more than $10,000 and the average semester's tuition can be anywhere from $25,000 to $50,000. And that's just for one-way instruction! Many of us will need ongoing support, coaching, and feedback to reach our goals.
Mastering a curatorial approach isn’t about what you can get done in a week, or read in a semester. It’s about a step-by-step method that will inspire your confidence in your own aesthetic experiences, and expand your world.
The Curatorial Method isn't just about learning what to look for when it comes to buying artworks, it’s about learning how to approach our visual world, source art responsibly, fit an aesthetic idea to physical objects, and, especially, how to communicate with others. Most importantly -- it's about confidence and achieving your goals.
TCM is meant to replace months or years floundering without access or authority in the artworld. Students that are accepted into the program work with me until their goals have been achieved, with no ongoing tuition or fees.
So what are your biggest goals? Let’s talk about it!
